It was the usual pattern of blood test, meeting the doctor and then the infusion of 2 hours. I saw much suffering on the faces in the hospital. I really respect the spirit of the hospital staff and thank them for their support.
The blood test results were great. A little bit anaemia but its within the acceptable range. The burning stomach ache of the last 2 weeks has disappeared and the battle front has shifted to pain in the left lower gums and teeth. Not sure if it is a side effect or simply a toothache. I will visit the dentist if it doesn't get better.
My energy levels are low, and I look haunted, new lines in my face and deeply sunken eyes. Lots of support from my family and friends which makes it a piece of cake to continue. Hoʻoponopono cleansing practiced by both my sisters helps to restore balance.
Newly published articles on immunotherapy all bring good news, and it appears to be way to go in the future. Personalised immunotherapy is also getting good results, although it still only extends life as it's a cure for only a lucky few.
Christmas is in the air and it provides extra energy every morning to get up and walk my daughter to school. All this strengthens me mentally, and I just keep on going.
